Adoption Fees

Fees will start at $75 for DOGS and $25 for CATS.  These fees can increase depending on the expenses associated with the rescue of the animal.  If you would like a further explanation of these fees, please email, mitchellanimalrescue@yahoo.com.  

 We do not recommend  declawing of cats. It is simply amputation of the last part of the bone.  We highly recommend softpaws as a more humane alternative and they are really fun too. If you have any questions regarding this issue please go to:

 Please spay or neuter your cat.  Not only will it prevent unwanted litters, it will lessen their urge to roam away from home.  Many, many cats and kittens were euthanized at our shelter in 2008 before we started the rescue.  Please help us continue this!
