SNIP - Spay and Neuter Incentive Program

Mitchell Animal Rescue has received a matching grant from the Mitchell Area Charitable Foundation for a spay and neuter program for the less fortunate in the Mitchell community and Davison County.  We also received $1000 from the former Osterhaus committee to put towards this great program.  We are now taking applications and, based on your income, we will subsidize spay/neuter for your pet.  Once your application has been approved, you will be given a voucher to take to the vet of your choice.   Call Kathie at 995-2524 for an application.

                                                We Are Making A Difference!

So far in 2010, Mitchell Animal Rescue has helped several pets find new homes, foster homes, or other rescues to stay with until they were adopted.  We are fostering or have fostered 34 dogs and 32 cats; 24 dogs and 7 cats have been adopted from Mitchell's Animal Shelter, and 4 dogs went to other rescues.  Some pets were claimed by their owners.  Before we started Mitchell Animal Rescue, all the pets we have fostered would more than likely have been euthanized!
